Omtale fra Marge Bloomfields web-site:
Full Circle is a true-life story about a love that is lost - then found again over half a century later, in extraordinary circumstances.
He is Norwegian. She was born in Australia but leaves home in her early twenties in order to travel and experience life's many possibilities.
The love she finds with her Norwegian is overwhelming, but there are endless difficulties, obstacles and long periods of separation. Finally, after four years, they go their separate ways.
As the story unfolds, the reader discovers why they parted and how their eventful lives have worked out in the intervening 55 years.
When their paths cross again, they re-discover each other, this time with the wisdom and humour that only lives well lived can bring - and love is rekindled. There is however, a profound sadness: he has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer.
Appreciating that they have been given the gift of a second chance, they determine to make the most of every magical moment they have left.

We were the same in a way, the openness, the nearness, the spontaneity of feelings nourished by the memories from the 1950s.(s.22)
Short Summary in English - My Thoughts on Full Circle
The Love story about Margery Bloomfield (1930-) and Odd Irtun (1925-2011)
My interest in this "epos" to love and to life was brought to me by an article I read in Adresseavisen 13th January 2015, also I had known Odd, not so well but as a "school man" - I had talked with him on several occasions, been to some courses and meetings where he was present - and I remember him as an interesting and nice person to talk with. The article, written by Per Christiansen, tells the story of the 25 year Odd that in 1951 met a 21 year old Australian girl Margery Bloomfield - it was in London - Odd should be the guide on a cruise from London to Norway - for a few years they had a relationship, but after 50 years apart it was perhaps fate that brought them together again in 2010 - and they got a year together before Odd died - but their love "lasts forever" in the book Margery has written
"For Odd - as promised " - she says in the beginning of the book
……...
It is touching to read about the first meeting after 55 years, Odd knows he will soon die of stomach cancer - but life gave him one more rich, but short year with Marge, the love of his life.
